There are many cameras that allow some manual control. If you are not interested in an SLR camera, which interested all automatic and manual control, then perhaps in the so-called reflection type. They have a zoom lens, like a reflex that can be changed. Moreover, they are smaller than an SLR, but bigger than a compact camera really.

Some variety would be (I did a search for aperture priority, shutter priority shutter up to 1 / 2000 second, Shutter minutes, 15 seconds):

As can be seen, however, will cost some of them more than a digital SLR camera. So, if you do not mind the size of the National People's Congress, which could also move in that direction. But if you miss something smaller, there are many possibilities.

I did a search on dpreview characteristics of a device that allows aperture priority and shutter priority, and 80 models were in place:

Many of those who are reflex.

I have a Canon XT and has an aperture priority and shutter priority mode, it also has a manual mode that I am just beginning with the last 2 weeks. They are so lightweight (lighter than what I have) than the old film cameras using completely manual (I borrowed a) by a friend and have all the advantages of a digital camera.

Hope this helps

Therefore, SLR has a manual mode. The Canon XT and Nikon D40 cheap, expensive super-professional. Some of the camera for consumers with manual functions and very few points and shoots have. Release a little more of what you want to give you better answers.
