HELP!! How do i unlock my HDD ? - hdd encryption
In my BIOS firmware upgrade from 1.18 to 1.43 on my Acer Aspire 5315 HDD password is no longer recognized (forgotten). I type my password in my password and said a valid password. Then, after several attempts, I get the keys.
Please help me to open my drive

Suppose you can to reduce the old BIOS version, you unlock the drive and delete the password .. then update again.
[Various types of locks unit encryption .. Some, like Microsoft will license key on the BIOS signature (among others) depend on to prevent theft and some of your unit and put in another PC unlock]
